RGS NEWS
Less than 15 days to go. As of June 16, only 535 tickets of 1,500 have actually been sold on this year’s prize -- a “Baby Frame” Model 21, 28 gauge side by side made by Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing Co. in the Winchester tradition!
Currently, those odds are much better than how one sportsman described the great odds when the Ruffed Grouse Society kicked off its 2009-2010 national fundraiser gun raffle.*
Check out the photos, on the ticket order form, hiliting the wood and engraving on this beauty, valued at $32,000.
This one-of-a-kind shotgun features 28-inch barrels choked IC/M with two beads, a straight English stock crafted from fancy AAA feathercrotch walnut to a checkered butt and a 14 1/2-inch LOP. The beavertail fore-end has an ebony insert in the tip. It has a single selective trigger and the RGS logo is hand-engraved in real gold on the bottom of the receiver.
Tickets are $100 each and can be purchased from RGS via the RGS-Mart or by calling 1-888-564-6747 and speaking with Rudy between 9 am and 4 pm EST. Tickets must be purchased by June 29 at 4 pm EST. If you'd prefer to print an order form and mail a check or money order, please click here BUT remember orders must be received by June 30, 2010. RGS is not responsible for delivery problems or lost orders.
The drawing will be held at RGS headquarters on June 30, 2010.
THANK YOU and GOOD LUCK!
