ALL Visitors Who Want To Login to This Website Who Have Not Already Followed This Procedure, PLEASE Read The Following!

All FIRST TIME access to this version of the RGS website Forums, Photo Gallery and Member-only pages must be initiated via the registration process on the RGS Forums home page and then linking their Registration to their membership record. Prior RGS Forum posters please reference the **NOTE below.

Note that this process should only be necessary one time, so please complete it to gain full advantage of your membership.

Those wishing to post only within the Public Forums, need only Register.

RGS Members, please read the following and print it for reference as you complete the steps:

Click the Register link on the RGS Forums page (middle of the nav bar near the top of the page) and follow the instructions. You may use any acceptable username password combo you'd like within the parameters provided by the Forum FAQs. Combos used on RGS' prior site may be acceptable but MUST be established here again**. Do NOT use your full email address as your username; drop everything including and after the '@' or use something else.

**NOTE: Without proceeding through this process, prior combos are not active, although prior posters to the forums have had their usernames imported to display with the prior threads/postings. If you were one of those users, you can obtain your username by clicking Forgot password? on the Members Only page, entering your email address (be sure to use the same one you last used in the prior site's forum), to have your username emailed to the email address on file along with instructions on setting your password. If that email address is not available, please email webmaster@ruffedgrousesociety.org, stating your name, prior email and current email and your user account will be updated and an email sent with information on how to login.

Once you complete the registration process, RGS members who have had a current membership at any time since 2008, should LINK this account with their RGS member data by clicking on User CP (User Control Panel) on the forum nav bar and follow the instructions. PLEASE NOTE: When this section asks for your Member Number, please carefully enter the one printed on your current membership card -- to be a valid number here it should show an expiration date AFTER September 2010 -- or your Fall 2009 or later ruffed GROUSE SOCIETY magazine (or provided in the email that will announce availability of the RGS member-only areas). Please verify the user data displayed in this process is yours. Even if it is out-of-date, please proceed with the process and you will be given the opportunity after the LINKING is complete to update it. If the data that is presented is not yours, please use your browser's Back button to return to the starting point to re-enter your number. If the data is still NOT yours, please contact Ron, 888-564-6747 toll free, during RGS normal business hours.

At the completion of the LINKING, if your name, address, phone and email are not displayed, please click User CP then Edit Membership Details. Verify all information including your 'Mailing Preferences' at the bottom. The address displayed here is the one to which your magazine, or other RGS communications,  is mailed so be sure it is current. Save any changes. Once you are done with your membership data, then please explore the other links within the User CP so that you may setup the rest of your parameters for your online experience within RGS' Forums.

Now you may enjoy the RGS website at any time by simply logging on at the Members Only page.
